Important:
 - avoid MC wars - they waste time and energy
 - use the *same* programs to begin with.  Once we are sure
     of ourselves, then examine the dependence on MC assumptions
 - Need a standard, maintained, documented setup for each
     component in the chain.
 - Do we need to share files?

  1. beam phase space files
  2. event generation (SPYTHIA)
  3. detector simulation (SHW?)

Physical photon is linear superposition of bare photon, vector mesons,
qqbar pairs ("anomalous" or "QCD"), and lepton pairs.
We are probably interested in the bare photon interactions (high pt),
but we have to check backgrounds and event rates from hadronic photon
structure.
